If I see you anywhere in my country and my Maharashtra, I am not just saying this as a Sikh and a proud Marathi, but all my Hindu, Christian and Muslim brothers will also welcome you with chappals.”

Another man in the video can be heard saying, “History cannot be changed. If they portray Sikhs as terrorists in the film, then remember what happened in the film. Reaction from social media users

Soon after the video surfaced on social media, many users raised concerns about Kangana’s safety. One user wrote, “What is happening in our country? People are openly threatening the life of BJP MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, just because she portrayed the history of India. Is it wrong to tell the story of the Iron Lady of India, who is considered one of the strongest Prime Ministers of the country? Please increase your security. We are really worried about your safety.”
