While wearing a saree, safety pins are used to hold it from the pallu to the pleats at the waist. These safety pins are useful and can be applied very easily. But sometimes the pins in the dupatta or saree get stuck and tear the cloth. In such a situation, what should be done so that the safety pin does not get stuck in the cloth. How to protect the sari and dupatta from getting stuck by the safety pin
Often when a safety pin is used, the cloth gets stuck in the pin at the back and gets torn. To avoid such a situation, before using the pin, put a small piece of cloth in it. This will prevent the saree or dupatta from getting stuck.
If you do not have a small piece of cloth then the easiest way is to use a bindi. Take a large size bindi and first pin it on a safety pin. Then attach it to a sari, dupatta or any piece of clothing. This will prevent the pin from getting stuck and the cloth will not tear.
If you are going to pin it in an open place from where the pin is visible, then put a small bead on the back side. You will find some kind of bead in the house. By putting this, the saree does not get stuck in the pin and it is saved from tearing.
Saree and dupatta can be saved from tearing and getting stuck with the help of a piece of polythene. Just make a small piece of polythene in three to four layers and pin it on the back side of the pin.
