In a Linkedin post, Zixia Yi, Seller Acquisition EU Market at Temu, explained the new offer for EU and UK retailers. After the local-to-local model was launched in the EU in April, the marketplace business has also been open to retailers in the European Union and the United Kingdom for registration since July. Sellers have to take care of product listings, storage, inventory, shipping and returns. According to the post, Temu does not charge any fees for this, or rather “0 commission, 0 advertising fee, 0 monthly fee”. While the retailer sets the base price, Temu sets the final prices for the goods. Retailers should be able to expect their money 14 days after receipt of payment from customers.
