SABU with new concept and fully booked hall

The SABU group takes stock of the SABU Trends & Fashion order fair, which took place on August 23 and 24. With 130 exhibitors and 180 brands at Redblue in Heilbronn, the trade fair organizer has recorded a record number of exhibitors since 2020 and a fully booked exhibition hall. Over 350 buyers from SABU and other group associations visited the fair. The group presented its services such as SABU Protect, the knowledge world, SABU BI and sabu.de and, as an innovation, offered a shared area for barefoot shoe brands.

The supporting program once again included a fashion show, which took place three times in total and at which Bernd Schneier and Alisha Corbé provided information about the trends for S/S 25. A new program item that SABU rated as a success was the social media workshop. Vivien Heller and Lisa Weinrank led tours of the exhibitors’ stands and passed on tips for a successful social media presence. A total of 15 retailers took advantage of the offer, according to SABU. “The SABU trade fair is the ideal opportunity for shoe retailers to give their customers a look behind the scenes and thus strengthen their customer loyalty and perceived competence,” explains Vivien Heller. Lisa Weinrank adds: “During the course we already created stories and posts with the participants. Each retailer generated content directly on site and thus added value for their own social media channels.” The next SABU trade fairs are planned for February 14 and 15 and August 15 and 16, 2025.
