Special FD Scheme: IDBI Bank, Indian Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank, and SBI have extended the deadline of their special fixed deposit (FD) schemes till 30 September 2024. The deadline for special FDs of all these banks was earlier till 30 June 2024. These banks are offering special FDs to customers at higher interest rates. IDBI Bank: Special ‘Festive’ FD
IDBI Bank has extended the validity date for ‘Utsav FD’. These FD schemes are for 300 days, 375 days, 444 days and 700 days. The interest rate on 300 days FD is 7.05% for ordinary citizens and 7.55% for senior citizens. The interest rate for 375 days FD is 7.15% (earlier 7.1%), while for senior citizens this rate is 7.65% (earlier 7.6%).
Indian Bank: ‘Ind Super’ FD
The interest rates for Indian Bank’s ‘Ind Super’ FD scheme are for 300 and 400 days. For a 300-day FD, general citizens will get 7.05%, senior citizens 7.55%, and super senior citizens 7.80% interest. For a 400-day FD, general citizens will get 7.25%, senior citizens 7.75%, and super senior citizens 8.00% interest rate.
Punjab and Sind Bank: Special FD
Punjab and Sind Bank is offering an interest rate of 6.30% for 222 days and 7.15% for 333 days. The deadline for these special deposit schemes has also been extended to 30 September 2024.
SBI: Amrut Kalash and WeCare Schemes
SBI has also extended the deadline of its ‘Amrit Kalash’ scheme till 30 September 2024. The interest rate on this 400 days special period scheme is 7.10%, while 7.60% interest rate is being given for senior citizens. Apart from this, ‘SBI WeCare’ scheme has also been extended till 30 September 2024. Under this scheme, the public is being given an additional premium of 50 basis points on the existing card rate. Customers have a chance to make their savings safe and beneficial till 30 September. To take advantage of these schemes, customers can contact their nearest bank branch as soon as possible.
