Helmut Seidl comes from the Rosenheim-based shoe manufacturer Gabor, where he has worked in the export department since 1988 and has held the role of export manager since summer 2021. His departure is another personnel announcement after the company had restructured its management structure in recent months. In the course of this, it was announced that long-standing division heads Ralf Meurer and Rainer Bachl will be leaving Gabor.
After CEO Achim Gabor retired for health reasons in the summer of 2023, the company’s board of directors was restaffed. It now consists of Stefan Blöchinger (CEO), Sascha Negele (Sales, Product and Brand) and Peter Bradler (Production, Purchasing & Sourcing). In addition, new structures were introduced at management level.
Since the end of March 2024, Gabor has been looking for a strategic investor. This investor will be used to accelerate the growth strategy that has already been initiated.
