The day is intended to be an opportunity for all retailers to find out more about the various suppliers of barefoot shoes for both adults and children. According to Rexor, around 20 suppliers will take part in the first Barefoot Day, including Leguano, Bär, Ballop, Affenzahn, Däumling, Bisgaard, Blusun, Merrell and Lackner Kitzbühel. Presentations by industry experts are planned, among other things. The aim is also to encourage the exchange of information between retailers who work with the segment.
According to the association, the reason for the event is that the barefoot shoe market has developed dynamically in recent years. The number of manufacturers and retailers specializing in barefoot shoes has increased significantly. Further growth in the shoe market is expected in the coming years.
Rexor says it wants to support retailers to ensure that the sale of barefoot shoes is not just seen as a trend. It also aims to promote the expertise of retailers and staff in the segment.
Rexor plans to offer seminars for dealers and sales staff in the next few weeks.
