It all started when Taylor Swift wrote a long post on her Instagram account after the presidential debate between Trump and Kamala. The pop singer told her 283 million followers that she was going to vote for Harris and her running mate Tim Walz in the November election.
He said Harris “fights for rights and causes. I believe (we) need a warrior to champion them.”
“I think he is a determined, brilliant leader, and I believe that if we lead with peace and not chaos, we can accomplish a lot in this country,” Taylor wrote.
Along with this post, the pop icon also shared a picture of herself holding a cat in her hand. She wrote at the end of her post, “Taylor Swift, childless cat lady.”
