As Rolf Pangels, CEO of BTE, explained to schuhkurier, they parted ways by mutual agreement.
However, the position held by Eva Maria Schaffner at the BTE will remain; a successor is being worked on, said Pangels.
Since November 1, 2022, Eva Maria Schaffner has been part of the BTE team as a business administration consultant. As the association explained when she joined, her tasks included advising fashion retailers, especially shoe retailers, on technical and business management issues as well as general member support. Since January 2023, Schaffner has also been working in the new BTE office in Berlin.
