Schuhquadrat insolvency: Bolko Kissling defends himself against allegations

“This is all completely wrong. There was no takeover agreement with Mr Schrems from which claims could have arisen. A contract was planned, but never came to fruition,” Bolko Kissling stressed to schuhkurier.

Rainer Schrems, who took over the Austrian shoe chains Salamander and Delka from Ara AG last year, claimed in a statement that after taking over the Delka and Salamander locations, they had “brought in a supposedly reliable partner in Görtz from Germany”. However, the agreed takeover price for some of the stores had not been paid, nor had the rents due.

Eight former Salamander and Delka areas are now Görtz stores. According to media reports, Görtz pop-up stores were initially set up in some of these stores. New concepts have been announced for spring this year.
