New Delhi. Everyone is hoping that the war between Russia and Ukraine ends soon. PM Modi is also leaving no stone unturned in this. After meeting President Vladimir Putin during the recent visit of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval to Moscow, now PM Narendra Modi met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in New York. The top leaders of the two countries discussed efforts to end the war. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the President of Ukraine in New York on Monday, the last day of his three-day US tour. In such a situation, it cannot be denied that the world will soon get the good news of the war ending.
This is the second time after visiting Ukraine last month that the Indian PM and the President of Ukraine have met. This is the third time in the last four months that the two leaders are meeting. Although this meeting of PM Narendra Modi with Zelensky, who had arrived in New York for the United Nations session, was not pre-planned, PM Modi could not refuse the request made by the President of Ukraine. Both Putin and Zelensky see India as an important partner amid the Russia-Ukraine war. Western countries also believe that Modi is the only person who can convince Putin to stop the war.
