Zalando Plus free in Austria and France

Zalando Plus is the name of the loyalty program of the Berlin-based e-commerce company Zalando, which previously required end consumers to pay an annual fee of 14.95 euros. This is no longer the case in Spain: Here, the program has been converted to a points system, and the company has waived fees since the change.

This change seems to be paying off: the new program is now set to be expanded to France and Austria. This will allow customers to collect points through various activities, such as placing orders or subscribing to newsletters. These in turn allow access to different “levels” that offer their own benefits. Other incentives include birthday vouchers and participation in exclusive events. More benefits are to follow.

“Over the past few years, we have built up a strong bonus program with over 2.5 million members in eight markets with Zalando Plus,” says Pascal Hahn, VP Customer Conversion at Zalando. “With the new Zalando Plus program, we are fulfilling this wish and making the offer free of charge.”

There are currently no plans to change the Plus program in other countries. The fees that are no longer applicable but have already been paid in France and Austria will be refunded to consumers.
