Kai Moewes started his career at Ricosta 17 years ago. After working in export, sales and product, he will now take over the position of managing director of the children’s shoe manufacturer from October 1, 2024. “We have a long and extremely trusting working relationship,” says current managing director Ralph Rieker, who will be joining the advisory board in October. “I am sure that we have made exactly the right decision with Kai Moewes to continue to position Ricosta strongly in the market and lead the brand into a successful future.”
“In my new role, I will do everything I can to ensure that Ricosta remains an excellent partner for specialist retailers as usual,” says 56-year-old Kai Moewes. The focus will continue to be on proximity to retailers and working with them in a spirit of partnership in the future. “This also applies to the long-standing, trusting collaboration with suppliers and purchasing associations.”
