According to the Hindu calendar this year, Sharadiya Navratri is starting from October 3. This festival will end on October 11. Which color clothes to wear on which day of Navratri
Day one-
Mother Shailputri is worshipped on the first day of Navratri. One should wear yellow clothes while worshipping on this day.
Second day-
Mother Brahmacharini is worshipped on the second day of Navratri. Mother Brahmacharini is pleased if one worships her wearing green clothes on this day.
Day three-
Mother Chandraghanta is worshipped on the third day of Navratri. On this day, worship the mother by wearing grey coloured clothes.
Day four-
Mother Kushmanda is worshipped on the fourth day of Navratri. Blue colour is worn on this day.
Day 5-
On the fifth day of Navratri, Maa Skandamata is worshipped. Maa Skandamata is considered to be very fond of white colour. On this day, offer white things to the Goddess and worship her wearing white clothes.
Sixth day-
Mother Katyayani is worshipped on the sixth day of Navratri. This form of the mother loves the red colour very much. You should also wear red coloured clothes while worshipping the mother to please her.
seventh day-
On the seventh day of Navratri, Maa Kaalratri is worshipped. Maa Kaalratri likes the colour blue. Therefore, people should wear blue coloured clothes on this day.
Day 8-
Mahagauri is worshipped on the 8th day of Navratri. Goddess Mahagauri loves pink colour. It is considered auspicious for devotees to wear pink coloured clothes on this day.
Ninth day-
The ninth form of Maa Durga is Siddhidatri. It is believed that Lord Shiva himself had attained many siddhis from this form of the Goddess. The Siddhidatri form of the Goddess likes the purple colour a lot. On this day, devotees should wear purple coloured clothes.
