Intersport Deutschland eG is celebrating the opening of three new flagship stores. For this purpose, the group works with the three sports and lifestyle companies Engelhorn Sports in Mannheim, L&T in Osnabrück and Sport Reischmann in Kempten. All three flagship locations will celebrate their opening at an opening event under the headline “Experience our best for your sport” on September 28th. In addition to numerous customer campaigns, well-known sports brands such as Adidas, Asics, Under Armour, Columbia, Mammut and Puma as well as well-known athletes from the Olympic Games are also on site.
“With the opening event at our flagship locations, a future-oriented concept goes live and marks a milestone in our strategy ‘Best in Sports: Up for Future’,” explains Dr. Alexander v. Preen, CEO INTERSPORT Deutschland eG. “The Intersport Flagship concept sets new standards for sports retail by establishing new standards. In close collaboration with our members L&T, Engelhorn Sports and Sport Reischmann, a concept was created that powerfully positions the Intersport brand in the premium segment and offers customers an exceptional range of products and services. We will continue to roll out this exclusive concept in attractive city locations at selected locations in the coming years.”
A lot of program with many partners
The three houses put together a decent program for the opening event. At L&T in Osnabrück, for example, world record holder Lukas Irmer will present a slackline show in the store. Afterwards, customers can also try out the slackline themselves under the guidance of the professional. Olympians Louisa Lippmann and Kiara Walkenhorst are also there and invite you to a panel talk. In addition to challenges from Puma, there are VIP tickets to be won for BVB Borussia Dortmund games.
In Mannheim, customers can put their fitness level to the test at Engelhorn Sports with the brand partner Unter Armour. Running shoes from Asics can also be tested together with Fabienne Königstein. A meet and greet with mountaineer Michi Wohlleben will provide insights into alpine sports, while Sebastian Heymann will provide insights into handball and team sports.
A climbing wall, on the other hand, beckons in Kempten at Sport Reischmann. In cooperation with the outdoor brand Mammut, customers can try out climbing here. Running athlete Miri Dattke gives tips for the training program, while Puma also comes up with challenges with attractive winning opportunities.
