Hello Buenos Aires – Bybit P2P launched the first Meet and Greet event in Argentina

Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by transaction volume, rolled out the red carpet for the local community in Argentina at the first-ever Bybit P2P Meetup in Buenos Aires. The event showcased Bybit’s commitment to building communities in new markets, celebrating cryptocurrency enthusiasts, and fostering connections through deep localization.

Local P2P operators were the protagonists of the event and your comments will allow us to improve the platform to adjust it to local needs.

Around 40 guests attended the evening on September 20. Local traders, merchants, potential affiliates and cryptocurrency fans mingled and shared their interest in P2P trading. P2P advertisers and local traders were the protagonists. They provided insight into how they use the Bybit platform and revealed future industry insights and trends. Guests left not only with new knowledge, but also with a sense of camaraderie, all while enjoying an Argentinian atmosphere.

For many attendees, it was the first time they met the Bybit team in person. They took the opportunity to learn about Bybit P2P’s growth story, its various features, and how the platform has impacted P2P commerce.

«The event in Argentina was an enriching experience that allowed us to connect directly with our community. The energy, ideas and feedback received gave us a fresh and valuable perspective, driving us to continue improving our platform to better fit local needs. At Bybit, we believe that close exchange with our users is essential for our growth and to build a platform that truly responds to their needs. Argentina is a key market in our strategy for LATAM, not only because of its great adoption of digital technologies, but because of the passion and commitment of its people. At Bybit P2P we are not only focused, but we are prepared to offer our users an accessible and reliable product, adapted to the dynamics of the Argentine market. “We are committed to continuing to grow together and strengthen our relationship with this valuable community.”

This meeting also followed Bybit’s recent milestone in Argentina. On August 16, it officially expanded its operations in Argentina as a virtual asset service provider (VASP) and authorized card operator. The VASP license, granted by the Financial Intelligence Unit of Argentina, allows Bybit to offer its full set of cryptocurrency products and services to users in the region.

Since August 16, Bybit has been a virtual asset service provider (VASP) in Argentina.
