Wormland has a new managing director: Investor L&T is installing Daniel Reid, who previously worked as human resources manager at the Osnabrück company, as the new managing director in Hanover. The two managing directors Tim Kälberer and Peter Wolff are leaving the company, Bernd Sölter remains in office as commercial managing director. The transition is accompanied by Dietmar Axt. In his new role, the new person in charge will further develop the customer experience in stationary retail and online retail in a customer-centric manner.
Reid can look back on many years of history at L&T. After starting as a cooperation manager in 2009, he took on the role of HR manager in 2016, which he held until the change. Before joining L&T, he worked as a retail manager at Olson and as a cooperation manager at Biba.
In January 2024, the fashion retailer Wormland from Hanover filed for bankruptcy. In August it was taken over by the Osnabrück sports and fashion retailer L&T, which, as an investor, saved the company from bankruptcy. After the eight-month process in which three branches were closed, Wormland was again able to respond on its own responsibility; nine branches with over 300 employees were retained.
