Heinrich Berkemann launches collection and B2B

From October 14th to November 8th, 2024, the models from the new Heinrich Berkemann collection will be shown online. At the same time, Heinrich Berkemann’s new B2B platform will go live, where interested retailers can already register here can register.

With a collection that harmoniously combines tradition and innovation, Heinrich Berkemann says it wants to focus on craftsmanship, sustainability and the needs of modern consumers. The brand, which will celebrate its 140th anniversary next year, is returning to its roots. Some traditional models from the archive have been reinterpreted for the collection. This also includes a clog from 1982, which, like all other models in the collection, is equipped with the 5-phase footbed.

The collection was developed under the direction of designer Theresa Beuscher and, according to Berkemann, is aimed specifically at premium fashion retailers who want to serve the growing interest in sustainable, healthy products in the high fashion segment. The main goal of the collection is to use upcycled leather.

The designer Theresa Beuscher studies clothing technology and management (B.Ing.) and began her career in costume design. She worked on film and television productions for six years, including the historical drama “Charité”. Theresa Beuscher’s expertise and her career are reflected in Heinrich Berkemann’s premium collection, which combines tradition and modernity.

The first Heinrich Berkemann collection will be delivered together with the second collection at the end of February 2025. According to the Zeulenroda-based company, sustainable growth is planned for 2025, with only a maximum of 50 POS being included. Each location is looked after individually.

“Anyone who doesn’t become part of this movement now risks missing out on the current trend, in which health, comfort and style are given equal focus,” says Wolfgang Sturm, Global Sales Heinrich Berkemann.

The Berkemann brand was founded in 1885. To this day, the manufacturer from Zeulenroda follows its philosophy of offering wooden shoes, ergonomic designs and comfort shoe models that are healthy for the feet.
The entire wooden shoe segment was realigned under the Heinrich Berkemann brand on the occasion of the 140th anniversary.
