Kybun Joya about the expansion plans

Kybun Joya is opening a new branch on Platzgasse in Ulm on November 11th. A soft opening is planned for November. The official opening is scheduled for spring. The comfort shoe manufacturer is taking over an old branch of The Body Shop. The renovation work amounts to around 100,000 euros. The Body Shop left the premises in very good condition, emphasizes Claudio Minder to schuhkurier. The retail space will extend to 109 square meters, half of which will be used as sales area, the rest will serve as storage and back office.

When asked by schuhkurier, Minder explains that the opening in Ulm is part of a current expansion strategy in southern Germany. An opening in Karlsruhe is planned for January.

The stores in Ulm and Karlsruhe are operated directly. With franchise partners, additional stores will be built in Friedrichshafen, Memmingen and Kempten over the next six months. “Our goal is to continue to grow with franchise partners throughout Germany and Austria. We estimate the potential to be at least 50 Kybun Joya shops, which we are aiming for in the next five years,” says Minder.
