No segment is as enduring as that of furniture. The additional products are indispensable for around two out of three retailers; There is little change in order behavior. This emerges from the results of the schuhcourier order survey S/S 2025.

At 68.6%, the majority of retailers show that they are satisfied with the proven furniture order. Around 20.2% want to reduce orders, while only a small proportion at 3.2% can imagine more furniture in the store. The segment makes up an average of 6% of the product range – last year the figure was 5%. From shoe brushes and cleaning products to new insoles, there is a lot of movement here at the same time: current products always want to draw attention to innovations – such as a care product for certain target groups – or to new, more compatible or sustainable materials. One thing is certain: the segment is small but stable.
