Billionaire Elon Musk has created a sensation by making a promise on Saturday. He has announced that he will give US$1 million (Rs 8000000) every day until the November election to anyone who signs his online petition, with the first prize going to a PAC program supporting Republican Donald Trump. However, now questions are being raised on the validity of its payment.
Musk presented a check for $1 million to a man attending his America PAC event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, aimed at rallying supporters behind presidential candidate Trump. According to the program staff, the winner was a man named John Dreher.

Questions are being raised on Musk
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday that Musk’s plan to give money to registered voters in Pennsylvania is “extremely concerning” and “this is something that law enforcement should look into.” Questions arose over the legality of these cash payments on Saturday night, as election law experts pointed to various provisions of federal law that prohibit making cash payments to voters.
