In the spring, Anders Odén, who had held the management position of Vagabond Shoemakers for eleven years, announced his departure. In total, he accompanied the company for 20 years.
Vagabond is now announcing its imminent successor: Fredrik Ohlsson, an experienced industry expert, will be appointed as the new managing director. Over the last 20 years, Ohlsson has been responsible for building various brands: After Brio and Thule, he most recently worked at the Swedish outdoor manufacturer Haglöfs. As the new CEO of Vagabond, he will now be responsible for the company from November 11, 2024.
“Fredrik brings a lot of experience in leading a Swedish brand in a global market and represents the ‘always a we’ mentality that is ingrained at Vagabond,” says CEO Martin Axelhed.
