The individual stages of the Lowa Trail Trophy (LTT) each cover 21 to 28 km and reach altitudes of up to 2,000 meters, explains the company from Jetzendorf. During the day, the participants compete against each other in sporting competitions. The runners should then become a community in the finish area and at evening events with an award ceremony, runners dinner and picture and video shows.
The Plan B Event Company acts as the organizer of the LTT. “I am very pleased that with the Lowa Trail Trophy, together with Plan B, we are able to create an event format that the trail running community is longing for: a versatile, feasible multi-day race on first-class Alpine trails,” explains Lowa CEO Alex Nicolai.
The LTT is intended to appeal to a wide variety of runner types: those who want to try their hand at alpine multi-day races for the first time, but also experienced trail runners and ambitious athletes who like to sprint quickly across the trails and are looking for competition. The LTT is also a training event for aspiring Alpine crossers at the Transalpine Run in September.
Registration opens on November 6, 2024.
