Astormueller welcomes new CEO – schuhkurier
Andreas Wortmann becomes the new CEO of Astormueller AG. With him the company behind Salamander, TT. Bagatt and the Bugatti Shoes license will continue its growth path, according to the statement. The previous CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors Tim T. Müller says of his successor: “At a time when a consistent continuation of our transformation and a clear course are essential, we have found the ideal designer with far-sightedness in Andreas Wortmann. With his proven expertise in the shoe industry, his in-depth brand and market knowledge as well as his excellent leadership skills, Andreas will continue to drive our company’s growth path. I am convinced that together we will successfully master our further transformation and thus further strengthen our market position.”
Andreas Wortmann has been working in the shoe industry since 1987. He started as Sales & Product Manager at Paul Green. He worked in various positions at Ecco for a total of 15 years and eight months. He was most recently CEO of Ara AG until September 2024 and declared in August that he wanted to leave the company of his own volition. His successor at Ara is Dr. Stefan Rassau.
