Since September, Ingrid Höing has held the official title of “Delegate” for the Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags trade fair. In this role, she says she is in contact with retailers and buyers. “The Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags is no longer just a sourcing trade fair,” explains Höing in an interview with schuhkurier. “It is extremely interesting for retailers below the premium segment.” Unlike other events, the shoe and leather goods fair on Lake Garda, which celebrated its 100th edition in January, has retained its concept over the decades and has always remained true to its early date. Nothing will change in the future.
However, the Expo Riva Schuh team is working on conceptual innovations that should be fleshed out in a timely manner.
Ingrid Höing looks back on a long career in the shoe industry. She founded her own sales agency in 1989 and began her career as a representative for the Robert Clergérie brand. In the following years she worked, among other things, for almost twenty years as a representative of the Spanish shoe brand Pura Lopez in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She also looked after brands such as Vitti Love and Sigerson Morrison.
