Shoe manufacturers help Spanish flood victims – schuhcourier

The recent floods in the Valencia region have killed more than 200 people and many are still missing. Numerous families have lost all their belongings due to the floods. Streets and houses in the affected towns are covered by a thick layer of mud. Many volunteers and official helpers help with the clearing and cleaning work and need the necessary equipment for this. Therefore, numerous manufacturers have responded to the Spanish shoe industry association’s call to donate urgently needed footwear.
So far, almost 23,000 pairs of shoes have been donated, primarily rubber boots, robust work and safety shoes, but also everyday shoes for the flood victims. The donors include well-known brands such as Paredes, Verbenas, Igor, Pisamonas, Unisa, Pablosky, Toni Pons, Panter, Gioseppo, Grupo Illice, Yokono, Vulcanizados Alberola, Deichmann, XTI, Exé, Calzados Bestard, Pikolinos, 24H, Ángel Alarcón and Calzados Gaymo, Botticelli.
The Portuguese Association of the Footwear Industry (Apiccaps) and the Polish Chamber of the Footwear and Leather Industry also contributed to the donations through the European Footwear Confederation (CEC).
