The “Baby”, the offshoot of the Berliner Schuh concept in Rottach-Egern, is three weeks old. Owner Udo Robakowski is happy with the start. It is 642 kilometers from Berlin to Rottach-Egern. Udo Robakowski currently drives it twice a week: down on Wednesday evening and up again on Saturday evening. The 54-year-old owner wants to personally accompany the start of his new business on Tegernsee. The beginning, he says, went very well: he received a lot of positive feedback from customers.
Because the entrepreneur has been welcoming many visitors from Bavaria to his store on Berlin’s Bleibtreustrasse for years and often receives shoes from this area to be repaired, he thought about “what he could do there” some time ago, he tells schuhkurier. He looked around for a shop on Lake Tegernsee and found a nice one in Rottach-Egern. On 60 square meters, shoes and accessories are now offered in an elegant ambience with a Bavarian touch – all high-quality, special and beautiful – and of course the repair service for which the company is known.
