The move has taken place: The shoe company Görtz is once again moving into a location in the city of Dortmund. This was recently reported by the news medium Ruhr24. After closing a few months ago, the company promised to return, and Görtz told Ruhr Nachrichten that he was looking for a smaller branch. Especially in view of the numerous other closures of brands such as Brax, G-Star and Ecco along the streets Westenhellweg and Ostenhellweg, there was concern about the city center of the city.
The new Görtz store has now been able to rent the former Brax space along Westenhellweg and is operating a new concept there: the fashion share increases to 40%, the shoe range is concentrated, fewer brands and smaller manufacturers are to be offered.
Görtz also recently announced its return to Frankfurt, where the company celebrated another reopening. The Görtz online shop also went offline in the summer of 2024.
