Washington: Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was arrested in America. According to reports, Anmol was arrested in California. Mumbai Police has sent a proposal to America to extradite jailed gangster Lawrence’s younger brother. American officials had been informed that Anmol Bishnoi was in their country. Anmol has 18 criminal cases registered against him. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for his arrest.

The name in the Baba Siddiqui murder case

Mumbai Police is searching for Anmol in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. The Mumbai Police investigation alleged that Anmol provided arms and financial assistance through another accused Sujit Sushil Singh. Anmol allegedly sent pictures of Siddiqui and her son Zeeshan to recruit shooters via Snapchat. The shooters had scouted the area a month before the killing.

Anmol has also been named in several other high-profile cases. He is also accused of helping to kill Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala and planning attacks on Bollywood celebrities. There was also a case of shooting outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s apartment.

The shooter was in contact with Anmol

Earlier, the Mumbai Crime Branch said that the shooter involved in the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was in touch with Anmol Bishnoi before the crime. According to authorities, messages were exchanged via Snapchat between Anmol and the three suspected shooters while they were in Canada and the United States.

A day before Anmol’s arrest, on Sunday, the Mumbai Crime Branch arrested a Gujarat resident from Akola, Maharashtra in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. The agency quoted an official as saying that the number of people arrested in the murder case had reached 25.
