Yoon ‘created the rhetoric of a national security crisis’ in South Korea, analyst says


South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol’s government early Wednesday lifted the martial law he imposed during a tense night of political drama in which troops surrounded parliament and legislators voted to reject military rule. She says that President Yoon created the rhetoric of a national security crisis and has likely signaled his own downfall.
