Washington: Newly elected US President Donald Trump, who attacks Canada, mocked Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Referring to the dinner with Justin Trudeau, Donald Trump described the Canadian Prime Minister as a governor. “It was wonderful to have dinner with Justin Trudeau, Governor of the Great State of Canada,” Donald Trump wrote in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social. Trump’s statement came when he advised Canada to become the 51st state in America.
Trump also wrote in the post: “I look forward to meeting with the Governor again, so we can continue our deep negotiations on tariffs and trade, the results of which will be great for all of us.” Earlier last week, during dinner with Justin Trudeau, Trump advised Canada to become America’s 51st state.

According to a Fox News report, Trudeau expressed concern about Trump’s announcement of tariffs on Canada during the meeting, after which the newly elected president made the comment. This meeting between the two leaders took place at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club. Canadian Minister of Public Safety Dominique LeBlanc also participated. He later said Trump’s comment was a joke.
