South Korean legislators on Saturday voted to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol for his failed attempt to rule by martial law last week. Seoul police said at least 200,000 demonstrators had gathered outside parliament in South Korea’s capital ahead of the vote to call for the right-wing president’s removal from office.
