The number of regular bankruptcies is increasing – schuhkurier

According to Destatis, there was a 12.6% increase in the number of regular bankruptcies filed in November compared to the same month last year. The number of consumer bankruptcies rose by 6.8% over the same period.
With the exception of June 2024 (+6.3%), the year-on-year growth rates have been in the double-digit range since June 2023. When looking at the results, it should be taken into account that the applications are only included in the statistics after the first decision of the insolvency court. In many cases, the actual date of the insolvency application is almost three months beforehand.
