Tributes for in for Jimmy Carter as funeral set for 9 January


Flags flew at half-staff across the United States on Monday as tributes poured in globally for Jimmy Carter, the longest-lived US president, who died at 100. The Georgia native, known for his dedication to human rights and humanitarian causes, will be honored with public observances in Georgia and Washington ahead of his 9 January state funeral.
