Darren Leon Mckoy announced on Linkedin that Dr. Martens to leave. He started at the company in January 2015 and has been Global Creative Director FTSE 250 since November 2021. During his time, the company has developed from a turnover of 136 million pounds into a billion-dollar company. Mckoy himself made the decision to leave the company, he explains in the post, in order to take on new challenges.
Dr. Martens faced some challenges last year. At the end of the year, CEO Kenny Wilson left and was replaced by Ije Nwokorie. In the most recently published half-yearly balance sheet, there was a decline in sales of 18% compared to the same period last year.
