Fritz Terbuyken will be followed by Christian Bregovac as the new CEO from February 1st. The industry magazine Textilwirtschaft first reported on the change at the top of Eterna.
The Passau-based company did not comment on a schuhcourier query on the subject.
Bregovac comes from the discounter Lidl, where he has worked since 2020 and served as Executive Vice President and member of the management board. Further professional positions included Seidensticker USA and Scandinavia as well as Corsina/Triumph.
Fritz Terbuyken took over management of Eterna on January 1, 2024 together with CSO Dirk B. Heper. According to its own statement, the shoe specialist came in “to take Eterna to the next level”. Terbuyken succeeded managing partner Henning Gerbaulet.
In the summer of 2023, the ANWR Group announced that Terbuyken would be resigning from his position on the board. Tobias Eichmeier took over his duties at the Mainhausen group.
