Marc Martin moves to Lacoste

Marc Martin, most recently Head of Wholesale Central Europe at Ecco, moved to the French fashion company Lacoste on January 1, 2025. As Wholesale Director, he will lead sales activities in the DACH and Scandinavia regions. According to the company, the new appointment marks an important step in the strategic realignment of Lacoste’s sales organization, with the aim of strengthening the brand presence and further expanding its premium positioning. The new Wholesale Director will work closely with long-standing partners to develop sales concepts that present the Lacoste brand more holistically at the point of sale. The company attaches particular importance to promoting strategically important product groups such as footwear and womenswear in order to drive the brand’s success.

Martin brings many years of experience in the shoe and fashion industry: After leading positions at Gabor, Timberland and Clarks, he most recently worked as Head of Wholesale Central Europe at Ecco since August 2024. “His expertise in the footwear sector and his ability to develop innovative sales strategies make him the ideal person for this key role,” says the company. “Lacoste is convinced that Marc Martin, with his experience and innovative strength, will take the brand to the next level in the DACH and Scandinavia regions.”
