music magazine spin published its list of “The 25 Most Influential People in Music in 2025”, giving the top spot to Iranian dissident rapper Toumaz Salehi. Salehi was released from prison in December. He was initially arrested in late October 2022 in connection with the nationwide protests that erupted following the death of Mahsa Amini in police custody.
