The Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags opened on Saturday January 11th and will run until Tuesday January 14th. According to the organizer, a total of 1,100 exhibitors, including 134 debutants, from 36 countries will be exhibiting at the trade fair on 50,000 square meters. Around 40% of the exhibitors come from Europe, 60% from the rest of the world. Chinese companies in particular are strongly represented; 375 companies and brands from the People’s Republic are presenting their products on Lake Garda. The country with the second most exhibitors is Italy with 220.
During the opening, Expo Riva announced new expansion plans. For the current edition, small projects were finalized with a new parking garage and a catering area in Hall D. The expansion of Hall B1 is scheduled to be completed in summer 2025. The exhibition center is expected to continue to grow in the coming years. Construction work on a new two-story hall and a new reception hall will begin in 2026 and 2027.
