The most important EU exporters in 2022, France (5.7 billion euros), Italy (5.5 billion euros), Spain (461 million euros), Germany (457 million euros), the Netherlands (365 million euros) and Poland (77 million euros) . These six countries together accounted for more than 97% of EU leather bag exports. France and Italy alone accounted for 87%. Within this group, France, Germany, Spain and Poland recorded the highest export growth rates.
