Dr. Kerstin Schulte had held the position of managing director since February 1, 2013 and played a key role in shaping the activities of the PFI during this time. “We thank Dr. Kerstin Schulte for her commitment. She provided numerous impulses for the development of our institute. Different ideas about the strategic direction led to the decision to go separate ways,” said PFI Chairman Michael Tackenberg. “We wish her all the best for her professional and personal future.”
Michael Tackenberg will take over the management of the testing and research institute on an interim basis until a successor is found. According to Tackenberg, the institute is optimistic about the future and will continue to pursue its core competencies, including testing and certification, with the usual quality and promote the internationalization of its activities.
170 people work at PFI, including 100 in Pirmasens and 70 in Asia.
