The fashion company Guess has announced an expansion of its branch network in Germany. Three new locations were opened in Munich, Bonn and Münster in December, and the number of new openings is expected to rise to eleven by March. The expansion focuses on city centers and includes two new flagship stores in Düsseldorf and Hamburg, which will present the entire Guess range. One store will be entirely dedicated to the brand’s men’s segment, while two stores will focus on accessories. In addition, Guess also wants to invest in expanding the personnel infrastructure in the wholesale sector as well as in the qualitative visibility of the brand through shop in shop systems in order to improve cooperation with retailers. “We are very pleased to be able to further advance our expansion in Germany,” says Guess CEO Carlos Alberini: “Germany is an important market for us and we see great potential in the cities. Our investments in these regions are intended not only to increase our visibility, but also to sustainably strengthen our presence there.”
Guess is also expanding internationally. The company has announced a collaboration with the Indian company Tata Cliq to open Guess Jeans stores nationwide.
