Authorities in Ukraine say Russia killed at least two civilians, injured several others and damaged commercial and residential buildings in a drone strike overnight Friday.
The Interior Ministry said two victims were killed by drone debris in the central Kyiv area. It said the infrastructure damaged during the attack included a multi-storey residential building and commercial buildings.
Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Ministry said air defense forces intercepted and destroyed about 120 drones launched by Ukraine on Friday night in a dozen regions, including Moscow.

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday he would soon speak to Russian President Vladimir Putin to pressure the Russian leader to end the nearly three-year war in neighboring Ukraine.
