Controversy over Kirkuk local government is deep

The federal court of Iraq has dismissed complaints from billions and Turkmen about Kirkuk’s alleged illegal formation of the local government.

This has caused tension with the Turkmen’s front, which consists of potential division on major positions, which includes deputy governors and country speakers, reserved for the Turkmen community.

Controversy continues between the factions, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Arabian alliance and the Turkmen’s front have boycotted the council sessions, called the formation of the government illegal.
