Google Announced on Tuesday This will change the name of the Gulf of Mexico for users in the US to the ‘Gulf of America’, which has been updated to the US Geographic Name System.

This change is only ready to appear for users in the US and will remain the Gulf of Mexico in Mexico. Outside the US and Mexico, Google Maps users will be to see both names.
