When the bread bag attracts – shoe courier

The upper price range is supplemented by a pronounced comfort segment with brands such as Xsensible, forest runners, Solidus and Finn Comfort. After all, the Jansen shoe store, with its good parking facilities, is a contact point for less mobile people from all over the region who have a need for comfort shoes and appreciate the selection. Once a week there is also orthopedic specialist advice from a specialist who has its business in the surrounding area for two hours. He went into teaching in a brother of business owner Guido Jansen and the connection is maintained by the offer. The Jansen family is a shoe family. In 1955 the shoe store was founded as a workshop by Arnold Jansen and all of his six children later had something to do with shoes professionally. Guido Jansen took over the shoe store before 34 years. It is now also clear that the house will continue to be run by the family. Guido’s son Johannes Jansen has been working in the company for two and a half years. In between, he actually worked in completely different areas, studied business administration in the USA and then sold hydraulic products. But the conversations about whether he did not want to take over the shoe store always existed until at some point you came to the end: you have to try it out to be able to decide. Since then, Johannes Jansen has been involved in all processes in the company, as he says: “There are a lot of processes that you have to get to know. Earth management, personnel planning and employee management, the work on the area and the one that nobody sees. And I have to internalize them all in order to be able to take responsibility. ”There are no concrete plans for when the house will be handed over. But if something does not change, the grandson of the company’s founder will have good starting requirements. So, in 2024, the house was able to complete with a pari at a high level and employs 18 people, although the personnel situation should be the greatest challenge in the future. “We are well positioned at the moment, but many employees will retire in the next few years and when we look around for new trainees, nobody reports,” estimates Guido Jansen.
