President Trump ‘aware of the situation’
A military helicopter collided near the Reagan National Airport on Wednesday evening, “the situation” the situation “is” informed about the situation “after an American Airlines flight.
“Sadly, it seems that a military helicopter collided with a regional jet,” Press Secretary Karolin Lewitt told Fox News.
The passenger aircraft was flying from Wichita, Kansa to Washington DC.

What do we know about the collision?
The FAA said the accident occurred when an American airline passenger jet collided with a military blackhock helicopter as it had approached a runway at Rehan Airport.
In the audio from the air traffic control tower around the time of the accident, a controller is heard asking the helicopter, “Pat 25 Do you have CRJ,” mention the passenger aircraft.
“Have you seen the tower?” Another pilot is heard calling in seconds after a clear collision.
The Tower immediately began removing other aircraft from Reagan.
A video of an observation camera at a nearby Kennedy Center shows two sets of lights suit to appear to join a fireball.

Potomac River Small Aircraft
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated that Ronald Regan Washington crashed a small plane in the Potomac River near the Washington National Airport.
The FAA said in a statement that regional aircraft of an American airlines collided with a helicopter as it had become local at around 9 am on a runway at Reagan Airport.
The agency said, “A PSA Airlines Bombardier collided with a Sikorski H -60 helicopter in the CRJ 700 regional Jet Midair, while Reagan Washington Washington Washington at approach 33, around 33, around around 9 pm local time,” the agency said.
“PSA was operating flight 5342 as American Airlines. It departed from Wichita, Kansas,” it said.
The DC Police Department said that it was responding to “a clear air accident in the Potomac River” and that “the multi-agency search and rescue operations is going on.”
