Former German President Horst Kohaler dies at 81 – DW – 02/01/2025

Former German President Horst Kohaler died in Berlin on Saturday morning after a minor illness, Office of current German President Frank-Walter Steinmier Said in a statement.

“When Horst Kohaler was elected the federal President in 2004, he was almost unknown against the public,” Steinmier wrote on Saturday, “How soon he gained so much recognition and sympathy.”

Steinmear wrote, “He said he said and was usually done before long and deep reflections and discussions.”

Who was the Horst Kohaler?
