Russia says Ukrainian drone attacks targeted energy sites

Russian officials said on Monday that Ukrainian drone attacks targeted energy facilities in two regions in South -Western Russia.

Volgograd governor Andrei Bocharov said that the drums destroyed by the Russian Air Defense caught fire in an oil refinery.

Astrakhan governor Igor Babushkin said Ukrainian attacks focus on fuel and energy facilities, causing a fire in their area, but no casualties.

Authorities did not provide details about the sites involved in the attacks.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Monday that it shot 71 Ukrainian drone overs, including Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Voroniies, Belgorod and Kursk regions.

Belgorod governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said the attacks on Telegram damaged three houses and one agrarian business.

Ukraine’s army said on Monday that it destroyed 38 out of 71 drones, which was launched by Russian forces in overnight attacks.

Intercepts Chercas, Chernihiv, Denipropatrovsk, Kharkiv, Khamelnsky, Kiev, Poultwa, Sumi, Vinnitsia and Zaporizhia region.

Chercas Governor Ihor Taberats said on Telegram that the falling drone debris damaged four residential buildings.

Kharkiv Governor Oleh Sinihubov said that the Russian attack damaged a school.
