The rental agreement for the new Galeria Service Center has been signed, explains CEO Olivier van den Bosssche on LinkedIn: “From spring we will move to the Düsseldorf Office Ensemble RWI 4. We are very happy!”
The new location of the Galeria headquarters is the RWI 4 high-rise, a building with a total of 47,000 square meters of space on Völklinger Straße. As the Rheinische Post reports, Galeria has rented an area of 6,700 sqm in the complex, over ten years at a term. The building with a silver -colored facade is located in the Unterbilk district near Medienhafen and, in view, several ministries.

At first it was planned to move the department store headquarters to a floor in the Karstadt-Haus on Düsseldorfer Schadowstrasse, where the company rented several floors. The then insolvency administrator Stefan Denkhaus announced this in April 2024. But these plans were apparently rejected due to too high conversion costs.
The central location of the RWI 4 not only ensures an excellent infrastructure, “but also for shorter paths to the places that make up us – our branches in the best inner city location. In this way, we can respond even more specifically to the needs of our customers and, together with suppliers and partners, develop innovative solutions for our branches and the city center, ”explains the CEO.
